Tenaya is a documentary & editorial hybrid wedding + couples photographer based in Houston, Texas but documents events world wide. She is known for her film influenced style of photography bringing a quiet, effortlessly intentional look to her images. She shoots on the mediums of genuine 35mm analog film, as well as digital, all edited with a style inspired by the art and authenticity of analog. Her passion for the medium of analog and a quality unmatched leads her to the highest of standards for her work.

My Values

1. Authenticity. From me to you, and from the way I capture you as you are. Your wedding isn’t a photoshoot. I strive for the real you, and to capture just that, in the most artistic way possible.

2. Quality. I don’t leave with you after a wedding day, but my images do. I strive for the highest quality of myself but even more my images that you take home forever.

3. Intentionality. I focus on being very intentional with my shots. Film forces you to really think of the image you’re taking, and I carry that digitally too.
