Meet your photographer

Hey guys, I’m Tenaya!

My parents had a rule growing up that we were allowed to get a phone when we turned 12. That was BIGG deal birthday. But on my 12th birthday I wanted something even more expensive, of course.. haha! I wanted a camera instead. And I actually got one! My parents old Nikon D3200.. the oldest, most little beast of a camera I’ve ever had.. She forced me to reallyyy know how to use my camera, with alllll her buttons and dials and no touch screen settings! I’d say the sacrifice paid off though, because it led me on the photography journey to where I am now. My whole life I’ve had a creative heart, from being a little fashion designer as early as I can remember, to having such a deep soul connection to films, photos, and music, jus to name a few. I loved being a creative, from my earliest days. Often times as i’ve grown up I’ve forgotten who I am and who I’m meant to be. Every time I take a look back at little me, and the parts of me that has always been, creating has never left my heart. Being a creative is the only thing I know with surity, that that is what I’m meant to be in life.

Core Values

Quality.

Quality is my top priority. While I deeply cherish the connections I build with my clients, my greatest priority is ensuring you walk away with an undoubted quality of images, as those will stick with you through life far longer than I will. To me, quality extends beyond photography or just my images, though that’s my biggest goal; it’s reflected in every aspect of my work, from the client experience to true desire to bring genuine care and a quality heart to all I do. I aim to provide a high-quality client experience, maintaining professionalism both leading up to and throughout your wedding day.

Selfless.

My goal is to wholeheartedly dedicate myself to going above and beyond for others. Over the years, I’ve come to admire and trust photographers who are genuinely selfless. These are the individuals who, whether through small gestures or significant efforts, demonstrate their ability to put themselves second. They willingly invest time in engaging with others without expectation of return, and they offer unwavering support to brides and couples throughout their wedding process, adapting to any need that arises. Their dedication to helping in every way possible is always who I hope to be.

Genuine.

A core value that drives my wedding photography business is authenticity. I believe in staying true to myself and offering a genuine experience, rather than adopting a persona to sell my services. My goal is to provide you with honest, high-quality service, while maintaining integrity in everything I do. I won’t resort to a "sales pitch" or promise an overly familiar relationship, but that doesn’t mean we won’t enjoy an exceptional experience together. It will simply be a natural connection—me being myself, you being you, and letting my work speak for itself online when finding clientele.
